Let’s start with embarkation. So old school we had a princess grill suite and expected priority embarkation as promised. Well yes you get to jump the massive que outside the terminal only to get stuck in a que inside the terminal where you have to do old school manual and painful checking. Next you then have to wait in a seating area before you are allowed to board the ship. When you

The ship is lovely and the suite was spacious and comfortable. Bed was very comfortable. The housekeeping staff did a terrific job as our room was always impeccably clean. The butler seemed stretched too thin; was unable to help with unpacking. The food was very good. Not exceptional but very good. The service at the buffet was excellent; best we’ve ever experienced at a cruise buffet. The

FABULOUS SHIP - AVERAGE FOOD AND SERVICE
Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Celebrity Apex
Acton Cruiser

It would be harsh for me to say anything bad about the Apex, as I was only on it for a day. However, I have had a similar experience on another cruiseline, to compare.I have sailed with celebrity only once before, pre-covid on the Silhouette in Aqua Class. So I have never used the main dining room on a celebrity Ship.Being a frequent user of MSC, I thought I would read at least 10

First time cruisers and picked this one as duration was enough as a test run and it was affordable bearing in mind it was half term in UK. Knew it was a big ship but at full capacity the buffet and restaurants struggled at breakfast time. Would have liked better food hygiene measures in the buffet in view of number of children .We found there wasn't enough seating in the bar areas. Entertainment

As noted in the title. My wife and I are Celebrity people, but the itinerary finally created our first trip on Royal. Also, we are empty nesters not traveling with children. Keep these two factors in mind since they heavily influence our opinion.Overall - Great cruise, great trip, and a great time. Would do Royal again but will lean towards Celebrity. We did have an itinerary change due

We were a bit afraid of traveling as we heard about the norovirus bug going on on Ventura on the previous trip before ours.We received an email from P&O advising us that boarding was running 4 hours behind so we needed to get to the terminal 4 hours after our original boarding time.As we do not live anywhere close to Southampton, we decided to leave early, and due to the fact we got to

Currently on cruise number 25 or 26 but first on P&O. To start on positive the internet is the best we've experienced at sea and the food in main restaurants is excellent, amongst best we have had at sea (apart from the buffet which is amongst the poorest). The main problem with the ship, part from it being very very dated, is that the logistics, moving and organising people is just utterly

The ship is looking very tired now and would benefit from a major refurbishment especially the air conditioning. All of the staff were very good and helpful. The menu was monotonous and we became bored of it very quickly in the buffet area on deck 9 and was probably aimed at targeting a more advanced in age person - Im sure that there is no need for a roast dinner for Lunch and Dinner 7 days
