I think it's probably part of a Chinese cultural comedic style that I don't get -- a sort of slapstick over-the-top exaggeration -- much like there is a certain Japanese style of drama found in anime that doesn't totally resonate with me... but I watch with enjoyment nonetheless.The CGI is great and the action is high energy. It's an enjoyable way to spend a couple hours if you are a sci-fi fan. Saving the earth from an external threat like the sun is actually contradictory to what it really is, life on earth depends on the sun and the threat comes from greed on this planet. To be united against greed would be more desirable nowadays. But morality aside, this movie is worth the watch. Je ne fais pas référence aux créations futures, car c'est le principe de la science-fiction, et pour le coup, il y a de bonnes trouvailles, je trouve. Cependant, la physique de base est bafouée, même un incompétent en physique tel que moi l'a perçu.L'humour est pauvre et forcé, ce qui le rend lourd, cringe, comme diraient certains.Les actions s'enchaînent comme si un enfant racontait ce qu'il s'est passé à l'école : une succession d'actions sans aucun temps de pause ou presque, avec zéro transition. C'est un enchaînement de scènes d'actions entrecoupées de scènes censées être drôles, mais qui ne font que casser le rythme (s'il y en a un ?).
