How do I access my Okta account? ›

Usually the login page is “companyname”.okta.com. Alternatively, if you were sent an activation link email, the sign in page will be in the email body. Otherwise, contact your company's IT department to obtain the correct okta login page URL.

Open https://admin/ in your browser and sign in using the default credentials.

To find your Okta URL (also called an Okta domain): Sign in to your Okta organization with your administrator account. Locate the Okta domain by clicking your username in the upper-right corner of the Admin Console. The domain appears in the dropdown menu.

If you don't know your username, contact your company's help desk who set up your organization's Okta accounts. If you forgot your password, use the Forgot Password link at the bottom of the sign-in page to generate a new one. If the link isn't available, contact your IT department.

To access your applications, go to the Okta Dashboard in the mobile browser, or tap Open dashboard in Okta Verify. To check if you use Okta FastPass, open Okta Verify and tap your account. If Okta FastPass has a green checkmark, your organization uses the Okta FastPass sign-in method.

In most Okta Orgs the username is the same as the primary email address. The widget does have a password recovery flow where you supply an email address and if there is an account associated with it an email will be sent.

Log in to the Admin dashboard and navigate to Applications. Search for and select the application. Take note of <APPLICATION_ID> based on the example format that is the application ID. The same ID can be seen in the syslog search bar after clicking on the View Logs link from the application page.

Tap Okta Mobile on your device to open the app. Your applications are displayed in a tile view, similar to your Okta dashboard in the web browser on your computer.

How do I verify my identity with Okta? ›

When users sign in to Okta, they can verify their identity by approving a push notification in the app, or by entering a one-time code provided by the app into Okta.

Sign in to your organization's app dashboard to access apps protected by Okta. In your browser, type your organization's sign-in URL, such as https://example.okta.com, or https://atko.biz. Enter your username and password and follow the authentication prompts.

You can go there on the upright corner of the dashboard by clicking the "Admin" button or by going to your_org+-admin.okta.com instead of your_org.
